Nest Hub Max dead?

My Hub MAX recently will not power on at all. The power cable is putting out the correct voltage, but the device is dead. Are there any troubleshooting tricks I could possibly try?

Hi SeeFor,

Warmest welcome from the Community team!

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out. Is your Google Nest Hub Max directly connected to a power outlet or a surge protector? Have you tried other power outlets or have a different device plugged into that specific outlet? Does it show any of the LED lights?

Try these steps to discharge your Nest Hub Max:

  • Unplug the power adapter from the outlet and the speaker or display.
  • Leave it unplugged for 20 seconds.
  • Plug the power adapter into the speaker or display.
  • Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet that works.
  • Check if any LED lights would appear on the back of the speaker or display.

Keep me posted.

Thanks,

Dan
