I have Nest Hub Max and Amazon Fire TV Stick Max.
I tried to pair my Nest Hub Max speaker to Fire TV stick for audio. But, the Nest Hub Max Bluetooth doesn’t show up on Amazon Fire TV stick. Very strange fact is that i have paired bluetooth speaker of Nest Hub Max to the Fire TV stick before. But out of blue, I don’t see the Nest Hub Max Bluetooth on the Fire TV stick list.
Strange thing:
Nest Hub Max bluetooth is visible on every other device including my laptop, mobile phone, etc except Fire TV stick. I thought it was a firetv stick Bluetooth connectivity issue but strange is that Fire TV stick does detect every other device like gaming controllers, Smart TV, bluetooth speaker, neighbor’s TV as well except Google Nest Hub Max Bluetooth. So some weird is going on here. Google team tried to dump this on Amazon fire tv stick and never tried to look in their end. Amazon is looking into it and its been week and they haven’t got back to me.
FYI, I did turn the pairing mode ON for nest hub max bluetooth detection all the time. Both devices are 1-2 m apart and have no interference
anybody been in the same situation before? Any suggestion is much appreciated. I have been trying to get this fix from 2 weeks so lil annoying

Hi ajpaudyal,
Thanks for visiting the Community.
I appreciate all the details you've shared. To answer your question, Amazon devices are not compatible with Google Nest devices. Eventhough both devices uses the same technology, Google Nest are only compatible to Chromecast and cast enabled devices.
You might want to check this link for more details on connecting Google Nest speakers via Bluetooth: https://goo.gle/2q7ceOr

I was able to connect the Amazon Fire TV Stick with Google Nest Hub Max (as said in the thread). I am not sure where your comment is coming from.

Hi ajpaudyal,
I understand that it works with your Google Net Hub Max, however, there is no guarantee that it will work flawlessly due to compatibility issues. Just like other devices that isn't compatible, it may or may not work all the time.

Hey ajpaudyal,
I understand that this is not the answer that you are looking for. Since your device is not officially supported, you will experience issues connecting it to your Nest Hub Max. The best thing to do now is to keep sending feedback, and let the team know how interested you are to add Amazon Fire TV Stick as one of the compatible devices for the Google Home/Nest devices.
Let us know if we can assist you with anything else, otherwise I will be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Cheers,
Muddi

I just want this to work. Any suggestions. My device was working flawlessly and was able to connect firetv with google nest hub max speaker. Its just simple Bluetooth operating at the same frequency. I don’t understand, What is the rocket science here?
