Hello, how are you?
Since yesterday I am having problems with my second generation Nest Hub.
Every few minutes it is saying something like "I don't know but these are the search results" and opens the google.com page. It does this even with the microphone turned off.
It also does it with voice commands. If I ask "what time is it" it says "I don't know but these are the search results" and shows me a google search asking for the time. The same thing happens with Youtube and Spotify.
I have already restarted it several times and I have also put the factory settings and nothing, no solution.

Hi folks,
I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should, this is related to a similar trending issue. Our team is aware of this and is already looking into it. En Madrid, España más de lo mismo. Tengo 2 pantallas y ninguna, suelta el mensaje. En el nest mini si que funciona. Pero nada las pantallas inabiltadas totalmente. No deja ni poner la alarma

En el idioma español tenemos el mismo problema.
Lo tengo junto a la cama y me despertó asustado a medida noche.

Tengo el mismo problema desde ayer.
Cada ves que le doy un comando (como apagar la luz) lo ejecuta, pero, dice "No lo sé, pero encontré estos resultados en la búsqueda" y el dispositivo abre la búsqueda de la página de Google.
En algunas ocasiones se activa solo.
Tengo configurados los idiomas ingles (EU) y español. (Me encuentro en Puerto Rico)

Ok you are not alone, a lot of us are having the same problem starting today, exactly the same on Hub 2, hard reset doesnt work, it is a bug plrobably need a new OS update....
anyone has contac Google support at this moment?

The Problem is back. While it was resolved on Saturday last week, the Bug returned just an hour ago. Hope you find a more robust fix this time

Yep, it’s so **bleep** frustrating, had to switch to English US because somehow is even more annoying than last week. Just swapped my echo show for the nest hub but I’m starting to regret my choice

Now I thought I was the only one where the error would come back.
I've tried this:
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Home app Google Home.
Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner, then tap Assistant settings
and then Assistant and then Languages.
Set to: English (UK) as first language and second language to German.
so far everything is fine again

I started having the same problem this afternoon, the restart and resetting to factory didn't work, I even deleted the Google Home app and downloaded it again, but nothing seems to solve It...

It does the same thing to me but not to my boyfriend. I am the main user/owner of the account and he has access from his own account and whenever he asks something it does respond ok but if I ask for anything I get the reply "I don't know..."

UPDATE: I contacted support at https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp and sent me an email with some checks to perform on my devices... I'll keep you informed 🙂

Same issue as capitano95, keeps randomly sayin "I don't know etc.." and it's half Italian half Spanish.. done reset 3 times and kept it unplugged for a couple hours..

Same here. Factory reset and still nothing. I thought it was Voice Match issue, but even when not saying anything at all, the whole "I don't ..." routine started.

I'll update you too, I just called customer service too and they said they know it's server side problem and they are fixing it. They said they should sort it out today.

Same identical issue here: my mother is unable to issue commands to the Nest Hub, but I can 🤔
The Hub also seems to crash saying "I don't know but these are the search results" whenever I choose some of the options on the display menu.
I tried factory resetting, reconfiguring voice recognition, but nothing solved this.

The same thing happens to me too.
We have three registered accounts, and the weird thing is that it only happens with mine. So the other family members can issue commands to the Nest Hub without any problems, while I get an "I don't know, but..." reply.
I'm going crazy!

I also removed and reconnected my account from the house, but to no avail.
I reran the voice match configuration, but this again was to no effect.

That's right Jacopo... I think the problem only affects those who have screens...
