Since yesterday I am having problems with my second generation Nest Hub.
Every few minutes it is saying something like "I don't know but these are the search results" and opens the google.com page. It does this even with the microphone turned off.
It also does it with voice commands. If I ask "what time is it" it says "I don't know but these are the search results" and shows me a google search asking for the time. The same thing happens with Youtube and Spotify.
I have already restarted it several times and I have also put the factory settings and nothing, no solution.

Hi folks,
I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should, this is related to a similar trending issue. Our team is aware of this and is already looking into it. I do love Google Assistant, but their Hubs are just so tricky, I used to have 5 Hubs and 3 of them died after an Update, they are already out of warranty and Google doesn't want to provide the Fushisa (or at least their first Android) ROM, and now this server-side issues, I'm thinking about my Google permanency 😞

Same here in Spain i have reset the device so many times and nothing change it responses to me the hell "i dont know but etc."

I tested in Germany just some moments ago and reconnected my hubs to the power line. It seems to work properly now.... hope that the finally fixed

Here from Italy too guys! Also my best hub started with the "I don't know..." issue! Actually yesterday at night it was half Spanish and half Italian! Please Google solve this issue!

Unfortunately I found the forum too late. We had a power outage last week and the problems started after that. So I thought, **bleep** the power failure has disassembled the Microphone of the Gen. 1 or something similar. Since also a reset has not helped anything. So the opportunity of the Google birthday used and bought a new device, which arrived today.
Initially it also worked without problems, but now the new device also has this problem. Now I know, the change of language would have probably at least solved the annoying. But currently the problem is on both devices after resetting the language to German again.
Any ideas @Mlabrador ?

Efectivamente el día de hoy regresó el problema y sólo afecta a mis Google nest hub el Google mini funciona bien. Ya reinicié los 2 Google nest hub, incluso restablecer de fábrica y siguen los 2 igual, el idioma configurado es español y estoy en México. ¿Alguna solución por parte del equipo de Google‽

Se solucionó el fin de semana pasado, pero ayer volvió a fallar. Por favor no podemos estar así. Solucionen esto ya.

You can partially solve this issue by setting English US as primary language and your native language as secondary in the google home app. Nest hub’s interface will be in English but you can use voice commands in your native language
