Nest display colour settings

Skin tone is reversed and colours all wrong. As in dark clothing white and peoples faces look cartoon like.

I haven't seen this, but have you tried a simple reboot, either by unplugging your Nest Hub Max for a minute or by rebooting from within the Google Home app?
