Nest doorbell notification delay on nest hub

Whenever anyone rings my doorbell, my nest hub max doesn't notify until a good 5 seconds after I've heard the doorbell button be pushed. 

It used to be fairly instant. 

Nothing has changed, I've restarted the hub max display. 

I've got 1gb up and down WiFi so that cannot be the issue. 

Has anyone had the same issue?

• What is the model of your Nest doorbell (battery or wired)?
• Are other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Nest Hub Max and Nest Doorbell?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• Are you receiving doorbell notifications on your phone? If so, are they working correctly?

In the meantime, you can try these steps:

• Make sure you have the latest versions of the Google Home app and your phone's software.
• Check if your Nest Hub Max has the latest firmware. You can find instructions here: Google speaker and display firmware versions.
• Restart all your devices, including the Nest Hub Max, doorbell, router, and modem.
• Check if there are any devices or appliances (like baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones) near the doorbell that could interfere. Learn more about wireless interference.
