Nest hub and home looping small # of songs

Hi - premium YouTube music subscriber.  For some reason both my nest hub and Google home will loop a small # of songs (~five) when I prompt them to play.  Not using a playlist, just prompting a random artist or specific song.  Issue not happening on desktop site.  Issue has been going on for a few months, across multiple reboots.

Hi tmillers,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. A few things: when you reboot your Google Home and Nest Hub does the issue correct itself? Have you tried playing an album or playlist? If so, does the issue replicate?

You can do a factory data reset to put them back to their default setting then set them up again as a new device, then observe if this will make a difference. Check the steps below on how to do the reset.

GOOGLE HOME

Here’s how to reset your Google Home, press and hold the microphone mute at the back of your Google Home for about 15 seconds. You'll hear your Google Assistant confirm that it's resetting your Google Home.

NEST HUB

Here’s how to do the reset,  press and hold the volume up and down button located at the back of your Google Nest Hub together for about 10 seconds. You'll hear your Google Assistant confirm that it's resetting your Google Nest Hub.

Check this link for more information.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Juni
