Nest hub max 'almost done!' screen unresponsive

The "finish setup" button is unresponsive. 

I'm stuck in this screen. I have tried factory reset multiple times. Tried setting up under a new 'home'. Tried booting to safe but it just stays stuck on a white G screen.  

 

 

 

I only had it delivered today so should I return it or is there a fix?

  • When did you first notice the (stuck on “G” logo) issue?
  • Was the device already in this state when you first discovered it?
  • If not, were you interacting with the device when it happened?"
  • If so, what were you trying to do?
  • Did you unplug the device before you noticed the issue?
  • Was there a power outage shortly before you discovered the issue?
  • What are the troubleshooting steps you've already tried?

Here are some initial troubleshooting tips you can try:

  • Try a different power adapter and outlet.
  • Perform a factory reset on your Nest Hub Max

Thanks for responding.

It went through the usual set-up steps until the end where you need to press the 'done' button.  This happened around 8 times with every factory reset.

I've returned the device for a replacement.
