Nest hub max won’t connect to internet. It’s not an issue with my modem or router, already rebooted those, and all my other smart devices work. It shows up in Google home app as a local device, but can’t remove it. Tried factory resetting the Nest Hub Max, deleting my home from Google home, deleting Google home app and reinstalling, nothing works.

Hi Eclindgren,
I am sorry for this situation with your Nest Hub Max, help’s here. Thank you for contacting us. You have performed great troubleshooting so far. You can also give these steps a try:
Please make sure that your display is about 15 to 20 feet from the Wi-Fi router. Close proximity allows for the best Wi-Fi connection possible.
Make sure you follow these steps after the factory reset is completed to remove the device from the app: Remove Google devices from the Google Home app
Let’s try to also reboot the device:
I also have a few questions:
What error message did you receive during the wifi setup?
Has the display been previously set up?
how far away is your Nest Hub Max from the Wi-Fi router?
Keep us posted.
Regards,
Angel

The Nest Hub Max I have, I've had for 2 years, and have moved it from one home to another with no issues. Recently, it wouldn't connect to wi-fi (there have been no changes to my wi-fi), so I removed it from my Home app, factory reset it, and tried to learn it in again. I keep getting an error message saying it's currently connected to another home account, and must be removed from that account before I can add it. When I open the Home app, it isn't listed among my devices.
