Nest hub recipes

It wont longer give me any recipes or show me my cookbook

 

Anyone else? Tried both my native Language and English. 

 

"Show me recipes of chocolate balls" 

 

"Even if I am an assistant i have feelings too" might be cuz some people call chocolate balls for something else (profanity) but I didnt, in my country. 

 

 

I then tried for spagetti bolognese, cup cakes but dont show me any results. 

 

 

"Open my cook book"

 

" To show your cook book simply say "open my cook book"

 

Then againI say: 

 

"Open my cook book"

 

" To show your cook book simply say "open my cook book"

I know it heard me as it displays what I say in the top and its identical 

 

Its like recipes are gone.

Hi Tomhub,
 

This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Is it the Nest Hub or Nest Hub (2nd Gen) Were there any recent changes made?

 

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

 

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Note: You can access saved recipes on your smart display and in your Google app on Android. To access saved recipes in your Google app, open the app and then tap More Menu and then Collections. You can also find your saved recipes online at Google Collections.

Its the 2nd gen. 

 

I cant access the recipes on my Nest hub anymore nor does it find any recipes when I ask it to.

 

Google got a feature f.e when i search on my phone to start cooking it with the hub. That has also stopped working. 

 

Version: fuchsia: 10.20221107.100042

Program: 51.0.27.5230146

 

 

I have tried restarting it. Didnt help.

Hey Princess. I got a tip from reddit/r/Sweden that his assistant changed language to English. 

 

Mine didnt really responded in English or anything. 

 

But i went in and looked my home app on my phone and since the new update English on Snart display was active. 

 

I changed it to Swedish and the smart display disappeared from language settings and left was only Assistant language. 

 

This made it work. 

 

So the problem seems to have come with the new Google Home Update. 

 

 

Fixed. 

New Home layout: 

 

Settings > Google Assistant > all settings > language > changed smart display language to Swedish, which then disappeared.
