Our Nest Hub device keeps showing 'gallery' images, despite it being set for 'personal albums'. Is there a way to set this more explicitly? Even when pictures from the album are shown, it only shows a couple of them repeatedly and randomly. Most are not shown. It seems there is a recency preference for a short period and then it's pretty random and most seemed to be skipped entirely.
One potential complication is that the device is at my parent's home. My phone, which is logged into the Google Home and Photos apps, is not always there. But the photos should be coming from the Google Photos album which is obviously in the cloud. I'm hoping my phone doesnt need to be in the wifi network frequently for this to work.
