I use my nest hub, to control my chromcast. At one point the video playback controls, would disappear, or not pause when dismissed on the hub. I use the hub as my clock, and it's very easy to loose track of time (I'm autistic and rely the clock), if it's displaying controls for net flix. It's also super annoying to have to restart it everytime, and really a few minutes after what ever starts I do not need controls. If I'm going to skip to the next video I generally prefer to tell it to go to the next video, and if I do skip ahead with in the video it's, almost always with in the first few minutes.
