Nest mini is not working

  • Nest mini is not working and product is 1month old...please help me to connect with service centre so I can check it out what can be done

Can you explain further what you mean by not working?

  • Are there any lights on your Nest Mini? If so, what colour are they?
  • If you don't see any lights, have you tried plugging it into a different power outlet?

I tried plugging in different power outlet but nest mini is not getting started not sure whether adapter issue or nest mini product only not working

I need to check whether adapter or product issue ...as that charger pin is different i couldn't find that charger anywhere to check....i need some Google service center in banglore to check it

Thanks for coming back to us. To confirm, are you seeing any LED lights on your device when you plug it in? When and where did you purchase your device? Do you have another Google Nest Mini that is currently working? Please note that Google doesn't have a service center in Bangalore India.

I do need assistance, please help me out

  • I don't see any LED lights when I plug in
  • It has been 2months i got from Flipkart
  • Nope I don't have any other nest mini

Hi I’m having a similar issue where I plug my nest mini in and it has 2 blue dots which change into 4 white dots alternatively if that makes sense then just goes completely off no lights , no actions work , just nothing tried unplugging and plugging back in , nothing seems to work

Hey follks,

 

Sorry for the trouble — let's check this out.

 

Perform a factory reset on your Google Nest Mini with this workaround: 

 

  1. At the side of the Nest Mini (2nd gen), unplug the power cord and wait for 10 seconds. Then plug it back in. Repeat this step 8 more times.
  2. On the side of the Nest Mini, switch the mic off. The LED lights should turn orange.
  3. On the top-center, press and hold (long press) the top of the Nest Mini (2nd gen) where the LED lights are. After 5 seconds, the device begins the factory reset process. Continue to hold (long press) for 10 seconds more. A sound plays to confirm that the device has started to reset.
  4. Once the Google Assistant confirms that it has started the reset, release the top of the Nest Mini (2nd gen).
  5. Wait for 1 to 2 minutes, then use the Google Home app to set up the device.
  6. After the setup is complete, have the customer check if the Nest Mini is properly connected to the Wi-Fi with any voice command.
