Nest or Home speakers won't accept YouTube Music casts from my Pixel 7 Pro.

Yes, me too. Pixel 7 pro won't cast YouTube music to any nest or home speaker. No other android phone in the house will and the speakers won't work with voice commands. Been about a month. Casting works from iOS devices.

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

  • Which specific Nest/Home speaker models are you experiencing this with?
  • Are all your Nest/Home speakers affected, or only certain ones?
  • Are your Nest/Home speakers also experiencing issues with other casting apps (e.g., Spotify, etc.) from your Android devices?
  • What Android OS version is your Pixel 7 Pro running?

The issues are with my 1st gen Google Home, 2 Google Nest Hubs, and one Google Nest Mini. I'm running Android 15, but this is happening across devices and when the speaker is given voice commands to play music. It was able to stream local radio stations with voice commands. Casting does work from iOS devices.
