Hello,
I want the nest mini speaker to remind me of tasks in Google calendar such as daily medication.
I can use the speaker to create the reminder, I set name, date and time etc. perfectly.
The problem is when the time arrives, I get a notification on my Android phone, and NOT the speaker.
I want the notification to be an audible one on the speakers.
If I go into Google Home on my Android phone and check the settings of the speaker I can verify that the Google Assistant Personal results setting is ON, and Voice Match is ON.
How do I get the speaker to give the notification instead of just receiving it on my phone?

Hello, I can see you've merged me to another post that has similar issue, but there is no fix yet after all steps carried out in this thread, can this be fixed or no?

I have the same issue. Google are quickly making these devices useless

still no response from support to either of my tickets after 2 months. are we all to assume this is like the "choose a video" broken chromecast overlays and will never ever be fixed?

i have lights today. but still no announcement.
deleted and recreated aaaall tasks and issue persists
back to a incorrect count number and a "sorry" message when asking
garbage, this. pure unadulterated garbage.

My reminders magically started showing up today on my Nest Hub! Don’t how that was fixed since I didn’t do anything. Anyone else?

yes but only single events. one that repeats will not announce the subsequent runs

Dang. Hopefully more progress is made soon to completely resolve this issue. I’m guessing it’s on Google’s end for starting this problem in the first place.

100%. you know absolutely gor sure it is their poor products and total lack of commitment to blame as opposed to user error when they fire up the thiefbots
