Netflix currently not working on Nest Hubs

Starting about 2:40 pm US Central Time on Nov. 10, it hasn't been possible to stream Netflix on a Nest Hub.  The Nest Hub reports that the link to Netflix isn't working and suggests unlinking and relinking to Netflix.  However, the relink to Netflix simply stalls with a blank screen with clients3.google.com at the top.

As of about 8:00 am US central time on Sunday, Nov, 13, we are again able to re-link to Netflix.

Hey everyone,

Glad to hear that things are back on track. We checked on this, and it looks like our friends over at Netflix have rolled out a fix.

If you're still experiencing this behavior, please let us know!

Figure this out idiot.  Major tech company with a very common problem that can't be fixed.  You suck

Doesn't seem strange to me after seeing soooo many people with the same issue.  I wouldn't think you'd think it's strange after hearing it so many times for so long.  How about open a ticket to fix it?

Was this ever fixed? I am having the same issue.

Same here. Google asked me to relink my account but does not work. Black screen.

Same thing with me and I've been over a week tetonv to fix it and keep getting the blank wedbage

Me too, very frustrating , was fine yesterday

Mine also asked that I unlink and relink netflix and get the same error everyone else is having. It has worked fine through many moves, networks, location changes, etc., but yesterday it stopped working and now will not relink. Yesterday I could not even get my nest hub max to be casted to from Netflix, thankfully, just now, we can cast to the nest hub max via the phone, but still cannot link netflix directly to google.

I have the same issue. Just started happening now. I was able to unlink but not link my account again. Just a blank page from clients3.google.com.

Me too ... exactly ... with the clients3.google.com  I have restarted all of my options/nest/router/the plug in behind the TV ... all of it and NOPE ... they still won't link

Same issue here since being asked to relink my account yesterday. I also tried updating all apps to the latest version. No success

Same!!! My issue started last Thursday, I even went so far as to factory reset my phone and still can't do it. Then used someone else phone to try and still nothing. It's not on our end I don't think. It's definitely a google issue. Nothing to do with our devices.

Mine won't even let me cast to my hub, or my Chromecast. Still says the account needs to linked in order to cast. Beyond frustrated. It's a good thing I have a roku tv in another room. I think google is going to gather some very negative reviews from this issue of its not resolved soon.

Please, any updates on this issue? It seems like everything we get from Google works fine for a bit and then it stops working. Considering getting rid of all my devices and getting Alexas instead.  Very frustrated!

I was wondering the same about alexas ! I phoned Google yest tho and they said it is a big issue they are working hard to solve so I'm trying to be patient for a few days and see what happens .....

I have been having this same issue with the Nest Hub Max. This is just infuriating, I have tried everything and really feel it is between the handshake with Netflix and Google. I got the message on my Max saying issue need to relink, so unlinked and now trying to re-link sends me to the link page and as soon as I input my credentials I get the clients3.google.com blank screen. Was trying to Access Google home from a laptop/desktop browser but that did not work, on my android google home app tried different methods but still get the blank screen. I feel Google/Alphabet really de-prioritizes some things and prioritizes other items. This issue has been ongoing for me for atleast say 2 weeks. Can someone at google look into this and get this resolved.

Helllo! I'm having the same issue with the Google Home app. My Disney+ and Spotify had no issues connecting, but the netflixing linking (after filling in username and password) end up on the same URL as op.

Hey there MrAlanay,

Would you be able to follow the same steps and submit feedback via the Google Home app with logs enabled? Every bit of feedback that our engineering team gets will help them out!

Best regards,

Jeran

Hi there I am also having the same issue with netflix and all , I have sent feedback, do you know when this will be fixed. I have screen records of the process leading up to the 400 error

Someone fire this guy

I'm also having the same issue, I cannot link netflix or disney but my Spotify connected with no drama.

I'm experiencing the same issue linking my new Nest Hub to Netflix. On Chrome, just the blank white screen with URL ending with error. On Samsung's Browser, it gives an error 400. 400. That’s an error.

The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.

Also having this issue

i am also having this isue

Woke up this morning and my Nest Hub tells me that I have to unlink my Netflix and 'link' again.

So I did and it won't let me link.  Enter my Netflix username/password and it goes to a blank screen.  I can cast to Nest but can't link google home with Netflix.

Same issue here

Hey there,

I'm sorry to see that this issue is giving a lot of folks headaches. There are a couple of things we can try here. First, if you have access to another device, such as a phone or tablet, log out of your Google Account on the Google Home app on the original phone, then install Google Home on the other device, log in, and attempt to link Netflix.

However, if that doesn't work, or you do not have access to another device, try logging out of your Google Account on the Google Home app, uninstall and re-install Google Home, then log in and attempt to link to Netflix.

Let me know if this works out for you or not, I look forward to the responses.

Best regards,

Jeran

I've been having these issues as well; just tried following the above steps, but still having the same issue with the blank clients3.google.com page

Me too!

I've tried this with two different Netflix accounts and two different Google accounts and I've had the same results. I believe this would imply that it's an issue with Google's service.

This is also implied by the fact it's impacting as many people as it is.

Why would this fix anythimg? This is just a generic "try restarting your router"-fix if you cant connect to the internet.

Those didn't work for.me, still unlinked
