New to Nest Hub 2 from Echo some questions

Just switched from Amazon Echo to Nest Hub 2 after my show 8 has display failing

My Echo Show did turn off the display after I wasn't in the room and then wake up when I walk in he room or the light change ( turn on the light n the room )  but I can't reproduce the same thing on Nest Hub

I have gestures ON, if I enable "turn off the display after 5 min" it will never come back on

I own 2 Nest Hub 2nd generation and I would like to see the same thing on both, if I set a timer on one of them I would like to see it on the other too. Not sure if it is possible

Hi al404,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

Thanks for providing detailed information on your inquiry, let me help you. Quick gestures are used for controlling the media, to dismiss timers and alarms, or to stop Google Assistant from talking. Timers are set up per device and will not reflect on other Nest speakers/displays in your Google Home app.

We appreciate people who are keen on sharing their thoughts with us. We're always looking for ways to improve. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.
