Google Nest does not make it easy to change Wi-Fi. Usually, you should remove the Google Nest device from the Google Nest app or Google Home app while you are still on the old Wi-Fi network, then do a factory reset, and then re-install.

@MplsCustomerThank you for the response and suggestions. I'm not using Nest. I actually have the 1st gen Google Home speaker and a mini. When I couldn't find them, I did delete them and now I can't find anything to connect to. Can you tell me how to do a factory reset? I have already unplugged devices, removed app from phone and reinstalled.

The Google Home speaker and the Nest Mini are actually both regarded as Google Nest devices and are part of a Google Nest "home/structure" in the Google Home app or Google Nest app.
If you couldn't find the devices (in the Google Home app?), how were you able to delete them?
This is Google Nest's Help page for doing factory resets on various speakers, with illustrations for each:

@MplsCustomer thank you so very much! You're a lifesaver 🙂 I was able to do the factory reset with the docs you provided and able to get both devices set up on my new wifi. Sorry, my lingo was off on that Nest. I thought that was a thermostat lol. Cheers to you!!!!
