Other Google Nest Hub Max Died

joaquimvenancio

I've had my Nest Hub Max for 4 months.  Today I woke up to it being off. I tried multiple plugging it back in and out and nothing.  I also tried holding down the volume buttons together for 10 sec.  Still nothing.  Is there anything I can do? I bought the device in May this year, in a Target store in New York, but I'm currently in Brazil.

Hey joaquimvenancio,

Thanks for reaching out. May apologies for the late response.

I know the feeling of not having a working device when needed. I'd love to help.

A few questions:

  • Is the display plugged directly into a wall outlet or surge protector?
  • When the speaker or display is plugged into the wall outlet, does it show any LED lights that indicate that it has power?
  • Are other devices able to receive power from the same outlet?
  • Are you using the official power adapter that came with the Hub Max?
  • Have you tried a different outlet?
  • Was there any type of electrical outage around the time the issue began?

Also, since you purchased your device in the US, in case you need a replacement you will need to return your device to the country where it originated because your device is not available in Brazil.

Cheers,

Muddi
