My photos were showing as a slideshow on my home nest hub just fine, and then one day they stopped displaying and it looks like the hub device is constantly in ambient mode until I tap the screen. I'm not aware of any settings I changed or anyone else changed.

Hi philmiller278,
Thanks for stopping by on the Google Nest Community Forums.
Apologize for the delayed response. I know how challenging it is when one of the features of your Google Nest Hub is not working properly. To confirm, does your Google Nest Hub able to show your photos when you say, "Hey Google, show my photos"? Is it a shared album? How many accounts are linked on the Google Home app?
Please check if Google Photo is set as your preferred source for Photo Frame. Below are the steps:
You can also visit this link to know more about Photo Frame settings.
Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Muddi

My photos are showing but I have no idea why. I tried the steps above and all the settings seemed correct already. It might have been a glitch that worked it's self out some how. Thanks for everyone's time!
