I have frequent small power outages in my area. When google mini restarts, all my lights connected to it, turn on. (All ok). However, If I’m not home, all my lights can be on …for hours. is there a way I can get notified by google home/assistant about this so I can turn off my lights, remotely. (an alert or text?? ) thanks for the help

Hi Aimj,
The Google Nest WiFi and Nest cameras will alert if they go offline but this isn't a feature that the Nest mini has
You could set up routines that run every hour while you are at work and have them turn all lights off in case they get switched on.

Thank you for the idea of routines. By using an IFTTT, I believe I found a solution that will work. Thanks!

Hi, Aimj.
It looks like you and Cathal_S were able to brainstorm a solution here. I just wanted to follow up to see if you needed anything else on this or if you're all set. If there's more you need, let me know.
Thanks.

Hi, everyone.
Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
Thanks.

As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.

How can I get the technical specification document of the Google Nest Hub for the Custom clearance process?
