RTE Radio Stations not working on Nest Hub - January 2023

The RTE radio stations have stopped working on the Nest Hub again. It started yesterday 11/01/23. Working on all nest speakers. It includes RTE Radio 1, 2FM etc

System firmware version: 9.20221010.3.176

Cast firmware : 1.67.330920

Thanks for the details you provided, sorry that you are still experiencing the issue. Our team is already aware about it and currently investigating the issue. We need your help in submitting feedback using your Nest speakers/displays. Check the steps below for guidance.

Step 1. Turn on device reports

1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Chromecast, or speaker or display.
2.  Open the Google Home app .
3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
4. At the top right corner of the screen, tap Settings Recognition & sharing.
5. Turn on Send [device model] device usage and crash reports to Google. (Example: Send Google Home device usage and crash reports to Google.)

Step 2. Share your feedback

1. Say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google," then:
2. “Send feedback”
3. Use the keyword “GHT3 unable to stream <rte radio station> in from TuneIn”

My nest speakers stopped playing all RTE radio stations 08/03/2023. Still not working. Nest speakers play other radio stations.RTÉ radio working on my phone, android auto via phone, Roberts internet radio.

I've actually given up on the nest home since January as RTE is gone more often than there. 

RTE channels available on Alexa via TuneIn so ....

Tried just there to see and now getting a  "Sorry something went wrong"  message which I hadn't had before.  Usually it just looks like it should be playing (with both logos visible) but ..nothing.

I'm having same problem on 2 nest mini speakers. I sent feedback just now on the speaker as well. Maybe it helps if everyone else does too.

radio garden also won't play RTE - so I suspect the issue is on the RTE side of things.

Same for me.  It will take instruction to play BBC stations, Spotify, Newstalk and every other station I have tried but none of the RTE ones.    Even asking for the actual frequency doesn't work. Very disappointing and frustrating!

I think it's obvious our patience is running out with this recurring issue. A bit of transparency would be helpful here, because if the problem is due to configuration changes RTÉ are making to their streams then we need to know this so that those of us who live in Ireland and fund RTÉ through our taxes can pursue this with them separately.

This is happening to me too I’ve reset and reinstalled but Rte radio isn’t working can anyone help this problem every other station works and Rte radio is playing fine through my iPhone tune in ap

Rte technical dept are in touch with Google to see if it can be sorted but if people send an email to tech at rte radio it's on their website
