RadioApp not loading on Google Nest Hub Max

RadioApp will not load on my Nest Hub Max. Other nest devices in the same household are fine.
Has been working fine, but stopped within the last week or so. Responds to my voice command "Play 3AW' but then the loading process freezes. Other radio services seem fine (iHeartradio) works on the Hub max, but RadioApp does not.

Contacted Google support via email ... the suggested the usual reboot and update solutions ... no change. Opened a chat to Google support, nothing additional to help, but they did suggest to open a Feedback on the issue through the Google home app. When enough people report the same issue, it gets the attention of the next level support people, who should be able to resolve the issue.

** UPDATE **
This is a Google issue ... probably a bug in a recent firmware upgrade that you have no control over.
If you are on firmware level 26.20250116.103.2201 you will probably have the problem.
It is a worldwide issue for Nest Hub devices. Google are aware and some users in the UK have recently reported their problem has been fixed. Hopefully just a matter of time before they roll the fix out to us in Australia ... keep checking.

** UPDATE 2 **
Working here in Melbourne on Friday 2nd May at 9:45am. Was not working at 6:45am.
Seems ok for 3AW , 2GB , 6PR , ABC , GoldFM , Smooth FM , Nova , KIIS ...
...  but not for MMM , MMM Classic Rock , FOX FM , 3MP .  That is all that I quickly tried.
Interesting is that my firmware level has not changed for my Nest Hub Max. This suggests that there might have been as issue in RadioApp that they are progressively fixing up.

We will probably never know the root cause of the problem, but let's hope they get ALL the stations back ASAP.

I have the same problem with 3aw and 6pr radio. But plays other stations. Since Friday this has been the problem

Radioapp doesn't play any station. Started about 4 days ago. Works on my other google devices just not my nest hub.

I have the same problem and it is very annoying. It was even mentioned on 2GB this morning. I have contacted Google as 2GB stated they will follow up and as well, I also emailed the RadioApp people direct ( it's Australian ), to no avail. as of this stage. Resetting the Google Nest device of storage & cache does not clear the problem.

I would point out I have no trouble streaming Radio with Amazon Alexa devices at this point.

I resetted all my google nests and none work on 3aw 2gb 6pr.seems to be the only stations that don’t work on mine. I listen to sen Melbourne and Perth sen and no problems.

Same here and of course, that is my Google Nest firmware ! 

But after 6 days, it's wearing a bit thin.

I might add to those who can manage it ;

Open the station you want on a phone App and then Cast it to your Google Nest device.  They both must be connected to the same Wi Fi network. It's the little square with 3 rising waves from the bottom left hand cnr, usually on the top or near the bottom of the Station App page. Hope this helps

I've been playing my stations through Tunein. Just ask google to play them through that app. Quick fix until they get this sorted.

This turns out to be most likely a worldwide Google firmware issue.
Lots of info and discussion on workarounds and fixes that appear to being rolled out in the UK.

Finally ... it now works for me this morning. 

Speaking to Google Nest "Hey Google, play FiveAA" ... and the radio turns on!

Hi all. I am happy to post that this morning "hey google play nova100" worked. I am now able to play radioapp on all hubs/speakers. Hope all that had lost function of radio app are back on. Note tunein didn't work either and still doesn't

Only 2GB and ABC working on my devices in Sydney.  Can someone try 2 Day FM and Radio 2UE in Sydney and let me know if I should factory re set again.

Hold tight, factory resetting does not resolve this issue.

It will restore all by itself.

I can confirm you are missing nothing by not being able to stream 2DayFM and 2UE. (and no, they wont stream here either, and neither is TripleM)

Noba 969 streams as does Kiis 1065 along with WSFM (Gold) , SmoothFM, ABC Sydney, 2GB, SEN and others

We have lift off!!!!! “Hey Google, Play 3AW”. To my surprise this morning, I was able to hear 3AW on my Google Nest Hub.

Problem has been fixed in Melbourne, Victoria
