Reminders appearing on others' displays in our family

Hi everyone,

For the past 6 months or so, when my daughter sets up a reminder through Google calendar, it works fine on her phone, but also appears on my nest hub in the master bedroom, and my son's in his room. We're all indicated as 'family' in Google home. 
I've tried toggling personalization settings, comparing settings on her phone to mine and her brothers (same pixel phones), and am at a loss here. I read that reminders should not be able to be seen by others. What's going on here? Does not happen with 'events', only 'reminders'.

Thanks for checking in. There were so many options, links, things to read in the share, some of which apply to this, much doesn't though. I've worked through some of it. No success yet. Reminders still showing up from my daughter on all our devices.

I am sorry to hear the issue is still present. Do you mind me asking if you have all the devices in 1 home? If that is the case, I would recommend trying the steps below. Please let me know if that helps resolve the issue.

 

  1. Tap the name of your device
  2. Turn Personal Results off
  3. Tap Turn off personal results in this home and confirm that you would like to turn off personal results for all devices in the home.
