Repeat mode on with Apple Music playlist

I have this one playlist, about 3 hours long, that I play for my kids at night time. I can’t seem to figure out how to get this to play throughout the night. Sometimes I can hit repeat in the player in the app and that works, but sometimes it doesn’t. And for the life of me I can’t figure out the wording to make repeat work in automations. HELP! I want it to play from 7pm to 7am and than stop, which I have as an automation which also doesn’t work the way I need it too because it doesn’t stop the music

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with the automation. I understand that you want to have the playlist playing all night long, but it always stops because it is just about 3 hours long and it doesn’t repeat from the beginning by itself. No worries, I’m happy to help you find a solution to this. In order to further assist you, could you please explain how you set up the automation for the playlist to me? 

Meanwhile, you can try to create an automation that starts the playlist at 7 p.m., then create an automation that stops the playlists at 10 p.m. Then you can repeat the process and create another two automations and have them work from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. and follow like that until you get to 7 a.m. Also, you can use the script editor to create an advanced home automation.
