I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. If your screen goes dark there is a possibility that Ambient EQ is enabled but it should not be too dark for you to see what's on the screen. You can utilize this setting by following this instruction below.
Utilize the Quick settings tray on the device when you swipe your finger up from the bottom of the display, and tap the sun icon.
