Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble setting up your Nest Hub. Is it a 1st Gen or 2nd Gen Nest Hub? What's the phone you're using? Whose account do you want to use in setting up your Nest Hub? For confirmation, is it already set up on your phone and you're just trying to add it on your daughter's phone or are you trying to set up your new Nest Hub using your daughter's phone under her account?
It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest Hub. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops. Restarting your phone might also help.
