For the past 3 weeks, Google Home devices in my home all say they can't understand when I ask to set alarms. Both minis and my hub refuse to set timers and acts like they are some unknown command. Furthermore, when I say goodnight, the routine is bugged. Rather than ask for what time I want the morning alarm, it says "Good Morning, I hope you have a good day." Like, what? I just said good night wtf. I've already unplugged them all and plugged them back in. How do I fix this issue? How could such a big company have such a simple issue this long? Ridiculous.

Hey Zargos101,
Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. My apologies for the late response.
I know how important for you to be able to set an alarm on your Google Home Mini and Nest Hub. Let's dig deeper into this. A few questions: which Google Nest Hub do you have (1st or 2nd gen)? What response are you getting from your speakers when setting up an alarm/timer via voice command? What is the current firmware version of your devices, including the operating system of your Nest Hub?
Cheers,
Muddi

First gen for the hub and both minis. I reset to manufacturer settings and removed them from my home. Then restarted it all from the beginning. Updated all to the latest firmware. Still the same issue. I talked to a Google representative a month ago and they stated it's a Google side issue. Many people seem to be having this problem I guess. I don't know. All I know is, that when I give the Good Night command, Google does everything right except the timer portion of the routine, it says "Good Morning" with either a single word to denote the weather for that morning or "have a good day." It's like the entire command for timer during a Good Night routine is just bugged. Then there is just simply trying to set a timer when cooking. I tell the assistant to set a timer for a certain amount of minutes and it replies "Sorry, I didn't understand. Same issue with the assistant on my Google Pixel 6 Pro. This entire issue is just dumb.

Hey Zargos101,
Thanks for that added information. I can confirm that this is an ongoing issue with the Nest Hub (1st gen), and the team is looking into this issue at hand. We need to check the issue on Home Mini and your phone as we don't receive similar reports for those devices. Could you share the case ID so I can check what happened. Also, please get the firmware version of your devices. For Nest Hub, please include the operating system version.
To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:
Keep us posted.

The firmware for the minis is: 1.56.282045
The firmware for the hub is: 1.60.305621
As for the hub's OS, there is nothing of the sort listed in the device's info section.
