Sleep Sensing Not Showing Up

Hi, I recently got a v2 Nest Hub, almost exclusively for the Sleep Sensing feature. However, whenever I go to look at the settings for the option, it's not there. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or am I doing something wrong?

I tap on the display, go into the view of my screen, then go up to the right hand meatball menu and into the settings from there.

Make sure you have enabled Sleep sensing in the settings.  Setting menu can be found from swiping up on the display.

I just bought two of them and one works fine and the other has the same issue you're describing. In the settings, the sleep sensing option just doesn't exist. I've tried a factory reset as well, still the same problem.

I am having this same issue - and like you, bought it almost solely for the sleep tracking!

@DylanSiecke - i have been chatting to google support and it seems mine is not working as the email address I'm logged into my Google Home under is a G suite/Workspace email (i wasn't aware of this, it's a family domain name my brother had set up for us years ago). They've suggested I create a burner personal gmail account, which will allow me to fully utilise all the features on the Nest. Possibly a solution to your issue also?

Same problem for me.  I just bought Gen 2 Hubs, and the sleep sensing isn't working for either.

I bought 3 hubs and one of them doesn't have sleeping sense option in my Home app. I already returned and bought another one and still not working, I have personal account and located in USA

I also just bought a nest hub 2nd gen and like the other problems here, sleep sensing does not show in the nest hub settings but shows on the Google home settings. Have tried gactory reset on nest hub, nothing.

When you use your Hub display's menu, you click on settings, then scroll down to sleep sensing.  There the dialog is titled "set up sleep sensing".  It has a link to your phone to provide instructions.  However, for me, I didn't receive anything on my phone or it's google home app.  So I concluded that sleep sensing is broke.

HOWEVER, here's what I figured out to make it work:

From your Google Home app:

1. go to settings

2. go to google assistant

3. go to manage all assistant settings

4. go to wellness - where it mentions, "Manage your sleep..."  Then you should be off and running.

I am thrilled with looking at my results from last night!

This is weird. When i go to settings on the Nest Hub, there is no Sleep Sensing. And the one you mentioned about going to google assistant and wellness, there is no wellness in google assistant settings. Can this be a location thing? I am located in the Philippines.

First off, I would suggest reviewing RKahn's response to see if that helps for you. Secondly, I was able to find this article about sleep sensing and it has some great information in it. 

According to the article, Sleep Sensing unfortunately is not available in the Philippines and is only located in specific countries that are listed in the article.

I also have the same problem. The setting of sleep calibration does not show up on Nest hub display setting.
