I have several Google speakers and they all worked fine with spotify. I just got another one and this one connects to my network and works fine unless I try to play music. It keeps saying that I need to link my spotify account in the app. I have done that and it works fine on the other speakers but not on the new one. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ghost_of_Pripya,
That certainly hasn’t been easy for you ― a few questions: may we know what Nest speakers do you have there and are they all on the same Wi-Fi network? Does all of them are being shown on the same Home structure on your Google Home app? It would help a lot if you could refresh the link between devices by doing a sequential reboot. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers. Restarting your phone might also help and reinstalling your Spotify app should do it.
Keep us posted.
Best,
Dan

They are all on the same network and all show up in my home app. I have restarted the entire system. I can cast to the Nest from spotify on my phone but if I try to play a song by saying "hey google play [song] on spotify" the nest tells me that I need to connect my account. Again spotify works on both of the other speakers and on both of the displays. It only will not work on the newest speaker.

Hey there,
That is quite interesting. All the other Nest speakers work fine except for the new one. By the way, what Nest speakers do you have and what is the new one? How about if we do a factory reset? Click on this link on how to. Doing so will revert your Nest speaker to its default and original settings, refreshing its system and making it easier to set up.
Tell us how it goes.
Best,
Dan
