Spotify video podcast issue

Hello. When I am casting Joe Rogan podcast using Spotify app from iPhone to Nest hub for some reason the video of the podcast is not displaying, only the audio is playing through the hub.. Is it a known issue and is their a resolution to it?

I tried casting Joe Rogan podcast on next hub and luckily it’s displaying the podcast video. Didn’t do anything. It resolved automatically

Same here. Useless devs and pointless updates

So annoying.. I don’t know if there is a way to roll back the update

I have tried everything, resetting, unlinking, unplugging and nothing works. Watching the podcast while at work was the whole point to buy one 😑

I used to watch Joe Rogan Podcast while cooking in the evening. 

Same here. It’s definitely a deliberate move that has to do with some sort of conflict of interest between google and spotify. It doesn’t look like a bug or accident to me.

I just spoke with Spotify support and they said that Spotify has decided to deactivate the ability to watch videos on shared devices. You can watch on your phone or desktop, but casting it is no longer an option. Couldn’t believe what they said, but they clarified that it was an active decision and not a fault.
