I specifically bought this device to use in my kitchen to display recipes. Great, it does that, and then it times out. I have found no way to keep the screen on so I can do this. Please fix this issue.

Hi @Johntyr,
I understand the frustration of having a device that times out while you're trying to use it for a specific task. It's designed for kitchen use, and a constant timeout is definitely counterproductive.
Let's explore some potential solutions:
If you can provide more details about the device you're using, I can offer more specific guidance.
Would you like to share the device's make and model?
Regards,
Mario.

Hi @alejandom , thanks for getting back. It is a Nest Hub Max model GA00426-AU manufactured 08/2023.
The web sites time out in 5 minutes, there is no way to adjust this. There is no way to get back to the website I was on without doing a search again and finding the spot I was on again. So time consuming it is not worth using.
I specifically bought expensive gadget to display recipes when I cook. I find a recipe on the web that I want to use. I start to prepare by getting ingredients. I get back, it has timed out. So I search for the recipe again as it cannot be saved and there is no history ability. I start to cut up my ingredients, talking to my family, enjoying the moment. Go back to the recipe, it has gone again. I mutter a lot of expletives and search for the recipe again? No I don't, I say f... Google and get my trusty Samsung tablet out to complete my task, this time with no timeouts. I'm thinking I'll never buy another Google product again.
Can this please be fixed, it can't be that difficult.

Hi @alejandom, Thanks for getting back to me.
I'll look at the link.
I have since done web search regarding this problem. There are hundreds, probably thousands, including countless others on this community forum who have complained about the EXACT same problem over several years. Yet it appears that nothing has been done to correct it. Time for Google to pull their finger out and fix it. Google are no doubt making hundreds of millions of dollars selling this product alone, and we who bought it expect it to work. Please fix.
Regards,
John
