Switching between built-in Hub speaker and Bluetooth speaker

I’ve been trying to figure out for days why Google Nest Hub Max stopped speaking to me. Every time I ask her something, she silently pops up a screen...no voice feedback. I finally realized it’s because I connected it through Bluetooth to my stereo. My stereo receiver is old so I added audioengine to it which essentially allows me to play music from Google Home to the stereo. I thought if I turn the stereo off, the sound would default back to Google Hub. I thought i had it working that way at one time. right now I can go in to settings >>Bluetooth and hit disconnect to get the sound back but them I have to do the reverse every time I want to use the stereo. Does anyone know a better way? Thanks in advance.

Hi Itgurl10,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I understand that you want your Nest Hub Max to answer your inquiries and play the audio through your stereo receiver if you want to play music seamlessly.  It is most definitely a great feature, however, this is not yet available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.

Thanks,
