Text error on screen when trying to view Arlo baby monitor

Hi, three days ago my hub max stopped displaying my Arlo baby monitor. The voice command says that it's displaying but all I get on the screen is a text error. I've rebooted both numerous times but still no joy. Arlo works fine on other devices. Below is a picture of the text showing on the hub instead of the camera image. Hope someone can help.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for all your patience and understanding. Our team is looking into the issue at hand. If you haven't sent any feedback, please do. Make sure to replicate the issue first, then send feedback on your Nest display by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback." Follow the steps on this guide to learn more: Share feedback about Google Nest

I’ll continue checking in with the team and update this thread as soon as I can.

Cheers,

Muddi

Is there any progress on this issue? I am able to stream Arlo camera video on my Android phone's Google Home app, but not on my Nest Hub.

It's been over 2 months since I first reported this issue and still nothing has been done!! Really poor support. I bought the Google max because it viewed my Arlo baby monitor, now it can't even do that its pretty useless to me.

The problem is on Arlo's end. I have a case open with their engineering team at this point and they confirmed the error. Don't know when they'll fix it but nothing happening the next couple days for sure.

Open a support ticket with Arlo and keep updating it there, it's the only way they'll move the priority up.

Since the Arlo baby camera is discontinued and stops receiving support in summer '24 I anticipate they won't actually fix the issue anyway. I don't need it anymore really and will replace the camera with something else and advise everyone else do the same. Check out this reddit thread:

My Arlo Pro 2 cameras can't be streamed anymore via Chromecast. Just stopped working suddenly. I have done the reset both on Arlo and Google, unlink and link everything multiple times, but nothing happens. Super frustrating not being able to stream live video on my TV. This use to work so well. Contacted Arlo and they said that this is an issue on Google side. please let me know if you can fix this issue soon.

For anyone looking for an "answer" about why their Pro or Pro2 cameras won't display through a Google Hub, check out the following thread at  https://community.arlo.com/:

I'm guessing BrookeN works for Arlo. BrookeN's response seems to indicate Arlo owns the problem.  Who knows if anything will ever be done about it.
