Turning Bedside lights on in one room and not another?

I have two locations in my house (guest room and Studio). I have bedside lights in both rooms. When I ask google to turn on the bedside lights in the guest room it turns them on in the Studio. The only way I can turn them on in the guest room is to say turn on guest room bedside lights which is a bit of a pain. Is it possible to completely separate so that this doesn't happen? ie when I'm in either room and say 'turn on the bedside lights' it will turn the lights in the room where the command was said?

Hi morthan,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this, let me help you out. I suggest for you to change one of the bedside lights' names or you can use a full form of a command that includes the room that you would like to control. Having two devices with the same name will confuse Google assistant. Here is a helpful article for more details.

Keep me posted.

Best,

Juni

Thanks Juni. I appreciate the feedback. I already know the solution that you've suggested above ie add the room name to the light ie turn on guest room bedside lights. If it was just me using the room I would do that but both rooms are used for Airbnb and its unrealistic to ask guests to say turn on guest room bedside lights. They will just say 'turn on bedside lights' and it will turn on the bedside lights in the Studio. I have them located in different 'homes' but that doesn't seem to make a difference. So, is there any other way I can 'separate' so that google knows which bedside lights are being requested?
