UK based national radio station suddenly started to broadcast incorrect regional segments.

Hello.  Any one else having this problem?  For the best part of a year I have been streaming a national UK based radio station through multiple Home Mini's scattered around my house.  The station is Greatest Hits Radio (From Planet Radio).  The station broadcasts/streams the main body of output nationally but every so often the network splits to provide regional news, traffic and ads.  Two weeks ago the 'regional' element suddenly switched to 'Scotland'.  I have nothing against Scotland but knowing there is a sale on in some random retailer in Edinburgh is no help to me living 200 miles south.

Nothing has changed in my set-up, my account addresses are correct and resetting everything has made no difference.  Even stranger, if I sit in my car outside my house and listen to the same station on DAB the region is correct.  The Google helpline 'kindly' referred me to the US government' s Federal Communication Commission as a solution!  I am sure they would most helpful dealing with a UK based commercial radio station.

Hi teebee,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

I appreciate all the details you've shared and it looks like this is specific to Planet Radio only. Since you've tried some basic steps, could you also try to ask your Google Nest speakers to play a different radio station so we can further isolate this issue? We'd love to test out from here other radio stations available on your area.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Princess
