I have a Galaxy S10e phone and regularly used to cast my Youtube music from the phone to my Google Home mini. About 2 months ago this feature suddenly stopped working. I think I may have accidentally deleted my Goggle Home speaker from the App. on my phone and have been unable to get it re-instated. I have switched the Google Home mini on and off several times and have re-installed the Google Home app. on my phone but it no longer seems to be able to see the Google Home speaker - trying to add a new device does not work although the speaker shows on my WIFI router's list of connected devices. If I run up YT music on my phone and start trying to cast something to the Google Home mini the phone app. flashes up the speaker name ('Kitchen speaker') and the casting icon starts to be active but the connection is not made and no casting occurs.
I also have a Galaxy Tab A7 and this still casts audio no problem to the Google Home mini and my wife has a Pixel which also casts no problem.
Any ideas on what may be preventing me from configuring the Google Home mini as a device on my S10e version of Google Home?

Hi Snorbens,
Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your concern. Since you accidentally deleted your Google Home Mini, you need to do a factory reset and set it up again using the Google Home app. Check out the article below to learn more about it.
Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays

Hi Juni,
Thanks for your reply but I've already done a factory reset of the Google Home mini and the fault is still there.
Having done a factory reset and re-installed the Google Home app. on my android phone I'm still unable to cast my audio from my Galaxy S10 phone to the Home mini. I repeat, I have two other android devices - a Pixel phone and a Galaxy Tab - both of which can still cast quite happily to the same Home mini. Both these devices can 'see' the Home mini as a speaker from their Google Home apps. When trying to configure the Google Home mini as a new speaker device from the Home app. on my Galaxy S10 phone it fails after searching for local devices. Since all this was done within 3 meters of my router it cannot be a weak signal. A real puzzle !! I suspect a setting in my Phone copy of the Google Home app. is preventing it from detecting the Home mini on my wifi network but I can't see how to resolve this. Any ideas greatly appreciated. David

Hi there,
Thanks for the details you’ve shared. Based on it and regardless of which app you use, it appears that this is isolated to your phone. You can try to contact your phone manufacturer to get help with it.
