Hey folks,

Thanks for posting, and apologies for the delayed response. I know how it feels when you can't connect your Google Home Mini to your network. A few questions - is this a first time setup or the device has been connected to the same network before? Did you reset your device prior connecting it to your network?

Below are additional steps that you can try:

  1. Reboot your Google Home Mini and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
  2. Turn WiFi on and off on the mobile setup device.
  3. If you have a dual-band router, try setting up your speaker or display on both the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands.

Please note that your speaker is not compatible with public WiFi networks such as business networks, shared apartment networks, school dorm networks, school networks, and mobile hotspots or pocket WiFi devices.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hey reach4aravind,

Thanks for the update.

Could you check your router settings. (AP isolation must be disabled and UPnP must be enabled). Do another factory reset and use a mobile hotspot to set up your devices (To isolate the issue). Let us know how it goes.

Kind regards,

Alex

Hey reach4aravind,

We know you have other things to do, did you have the chance to check your router settings?

Best,

Alex

Hi,

We have now set up the Google mini with 2.4 GHz band after having reset the mini we were able to do this. However the cast audio options and volume set up is not working. Trying to change the settings that you have advised. Shall confirm you asap.

Thanks
