Unable to get past 0% update on a new Nest Hub Max

Hoping someone can help,

I am stuck on what to do, i recently purchased a Hub Max, but i am unable to get it past the updating 0% stage, 

I have tried everything, rebooting, factory reset, i have moved it next to my router, created a new home in the app but every time i try to get it set up it wont get passed the updating screen it just sits there at 0%.

I get a notification on my phone that something is wrong and to leave set up which forces me to factory reset and try again.

Contacted Google support but after first contact on the chat the agent never got back to me.

I am so frustrated that i am thinking of just sending it back along with the doorbell as well.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated before i throw the thing through a window!!!!
