Hi, there is a random local device showing in my home app from which I'm not connected to. There is no option of setting from which I could remove it. Perhaps it is connected to the same router. So, now whenever I connect to my device and give a command, even if my wifi is fine - it says "hmm, something went wrong, please try again later." It's annoying now. How do I fix this?

What kind of Wi-Fi network are you connected to? "Local devices" shows devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone that are not in your "home" in the app and owned by you (setup with your Google account).

Hello folks,
Thanks for visiting the Community.
I appreciate your help on answering this thread @David_K.
@Chirag2, were you able to see the last post on this thread? Have you already tried rebooting your router after you have experienced this? Let's do that first simply by unplugging the router from the power source for at least a few minutes. As soon as you plug it back, test it out and see if it makes any difference.
Keep me posted.
Best,
Princess
