Hello! This is my first time here, and I have an interesting issue that I am having a hard time researching.
I live in Guam, and when I first received my Nest Audio I learned that (even though it works on my phone) Apple music is not supported in my location.
So, I installed a VPN set up stateside on my router behind my google wifi, and it solved the problem. Everything was good to go for two weeks or so.
Yesterday we had an internet outage (not uncommon here, and not the first time since installing the VPN) and since the restoration my Nest Audio recognizes my location as Guam and says I can't play apple music.
My IP address is in Seattle, everything else works as it did before, my Disney+ wouldn't work if it recognized I was in Guam, also if I go to my Google Home app it will let me play Apple music through it, it's just that the speaker somehow still knows I'm in Guam and tells me no when I use the voice features.
It's so strange, I don't understand the issue.
I've restarted my modem, my router, my google wifi, uninstalled and reinstalled the Nest Audio, I've even changed VPN servers. I'm lost at what to do.
It's not a huge deal, I can just play Apple music through google home or just a bluetooth connection with my phone, but using the voice features were nice. Also now my kids can't just play music on it when I am not around. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
