When doing Google searches or clicking a hyperlink to open a page, pages often open with a black background, making it near impossible to read. I have settings on light background default. Why is this happening?

Depends on what the web page has set as a default background can you provide an example of a page that you're having issues with? Also just to confirm are you trying to browse the internet on your nest hub Max?

Hello Frances - I never did get an answer or resolve this problem (and only found your question this eve, which referred to
Ashepherdson's brief reply, asking for clarification. I responded to that just now, and got an error message saying my reply had html errors in it, and to fix and resubmit. I don't know why this came up, except that I included an example (pic) of the problem as a screenshot.

I don't know if you got my reply, as I answered your questions and included a screenshot example of one of the black background pages, but when I tried to click the Reply button, an error message appeared, in red text, alerting me that there was an html error in my reply, and to resubmit. I can't even find it again to resubmit, but I can assure you, I wasn't using any html codes.

I only see two replies, one to Francis and one saying you don't know if I got your reply. Can you provide an example of a website that is giving you this issue so I can try on my nest hub Max to see if I can replicate the issue ?
