Hi. I live in a part of Alabama which observes Eastern standard Time whereas most of Alabama observes Central time zone. My home address is listed correctly but Google associates my city with Central Time incorrectly and I have had a ticket open for many months without any successful resolution with technical support. I could change my address to something in Georgia which is 5 minutes away, and in the correct time zone, but I'm afraid of messing up my location-based services as well as any information that might ever be sent to emergency services through my Mini. I used to live in Texas where part of the state observes Mountain time, where I lived, and the rest of the state observes Central. We had no issues there as they had correctly listed my city and the surrounding area in the correct time zone. I suggested that technical support look at that as an example of how to fix the problem here, but I've had no reply. Any ideas?
