Hello @lolart1965,

Thanks for posting in the community.
I understand your frustration with the Nest Hub 2nd Gen. It's annoying when a device that's working fine suddenly stops working. I appreciate your effort in trying some troubleshooting steps.

Unfortunately, since you're in Buenos Aires, we're unable to process a replacement directly. This is due to geographic and logistical restrictions that are beyond our control.

However, there are a few things you can try to fix:

  1. Volume: Make sure the volume on the Nest Hub and any connected devices (like a TV) are turned up to maximum.
  2. Mute: Check if the Nest Hub is accidentally muted.
  3. Paired devices: If you have other Bluetooth devices connected, try temporarily disconnecting them.
  4. Weak signal: A weak Wi-Fi signal can affect audio playback. Try moving your Nest Hub closer to your router or extending the signal with a repeater.
  5. Interference: Other wireless devices can interfere with your Wi-Fi connection.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, there's likely a hardware fault. In this case, I recommend:

  • Find a local technician: Find a technician who specializes in electronics repair in your area. They'll be able to diagnose the problem more accurately and offer you a solution.
  • Buy a new Nest Hub: If the repair turns out to be too expensive or complicated, it may be more convenient to buy a new device.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you.

All the best,
Jorge
