Hi rosco2,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand you want to connect your Ring cameras to Nest Hub 2. Please tell me the make and model of your Ring cameras so I can check if they're compatible.

I'll be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Manuel

Ring stock up cam 3 generación and ring doorbell plus ring fogligth pro and ring alarm kit

Hi there!

I understand your desire to connect your Ring cameras to your Google Nest Hub 2. It's a great way to have a more integrated smart home experience.

While you can add your Ring Doorbell to a Google Home speaker, it's abilities are somewhat limited.

Here's how to make the connection and exactly what you can do with your Ring and Google Home device once you've completed the setup.

Now come to our point. How to add the Ring Doorbell to Google Home?

Before you begin, make sure you've installed these three apps on your phone:

Google Home: Download Google home for iPhone or Google Home for Android.

Google Assistant: Download Google Assistant for iPhone. If you have an Android phone, Google Assistant may already be pre-installed. If not, download Google Assistant for Android.

Ring app: Download Ring for iPhone or Ring for Android.

  • In a web browser on your desktop or laptop computer, open the Google Assistance Ring Service Web page.
  • At the top of the page, select Send to device.
  • In the drop-down menu, choose the Google Home device you want to connect to the Ring.
  • On your phone, you receive a notification stating you need to link Google to your Ring account.

Tap the notification and complete the process by entering your Ring username and password in the authorization form.

  • Your setup process is complete-you can now access Ring from Google Home.

Let us know if you face any problems.

Connect the doorbell to a speaker or display

  • Open the Home app.
  • Tap Devices > add > Works with Google Home.
  • Find and select the doorbell manufacturer from the list of Works with Google partners.
  • Log in to the account and follow the steps on a mobile device to start the setup.
  • Scan over and understand the terms > tap Allow to enable Google Assistant to link with the account.
  • After the setup is complete, select Done.

Hope this helps,

Brandon.
