my kids adjusted some settings (the cooling/heating mode) of my Nest thermostat while playing around with the Nest Hub.
Is it possible to request the ability to disable making adjustments to the thermostat from the hub?

Ran into the same issue today. Toddler set thermostat to 98. I set up a pin and it applies to the nest itself but not to home hub so it won’t prevent future incidents

i have a cover on my air conditioning unit (AC) during winter. During this time my thermostat is set to heating only, so no cooling is possible. My kids can change that from the hub, and maybe even turn the AC on. With the cover on, if the AC fires up, it could potentially damage the AC unit.
This is why i need to disable changing the mode or even temperature from the hub.

Hey jbn1234,
We understand how important it is for you to disable the controls of your thermostats on the Nest Hub. However, this feature isn't supported yet. Rest assured that your feedback has been forwarded to the team.
Feel free to respond on the thread if you have additional concerns or questions about your device. Otherwise, I will lock the thread shortly.
Cheers,
