google nest ezviz camera

Hello,

I have a problem with Google assistant and ezviz, devices that are not showing up
when linking ezviz account to Google.
This problem is persisting from the beginning one month ago when i installed my first camera
First of all i tried c60n and nothing, linking ezviz and google account didint show up ant device but was linking without any extra message after c8c .. then another c8c , then two plugs c31, adding devices and nothing is showing up in the home assistant add devices
I have logged off my account from ezviz app, i have unlinked ezviz and linked up again in the Google settings and nothing changed
But if I say to the Google  assistant in the nest the command that activates the device then it works .. but in the routines of assistant will not show any camera device or any other device
I believe tested everything.
Router on and off , connect to 2.4 GHz instead of 5ghz. Distance of camera are ok and all working ok. But still unable to show up in assistant routines because linking the account does no show up any device.
At last i tested the cameras on ezviz web platform and everythig is ok, then from the ezviz API i called out with my token the list of every device connected, and everything seems ok.
i believe the problem is on google side because ezviz is not showing up any blocked or any problem.

Hi Renato66,

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how important it is for you to be able to access your camera on the Google Home app. To confirm, do you have another security camera that shows on the Google Home app? Have you checked with Ezviz if they are getting similar reports when linking their account on the Google Home app?

Please try these steps below:

  1. Go to https://goo.gle/3Kb1dA6 then log into your account.
  2. Scroll down at the bottom to see "Linked Accounts."
  3. Remove Ezviz on the lists.
  4. Reset your Nest Hub then follow the steps to set up the device.
  5. Re-link Ezviz account.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi

ok i did a debug of the situation as many users have ezviz cameras and no clue on what is causing this. so this will answer the question that everybody have and partially solve it.

i sent an email to ezviz also so they maybe will have a different solution and i guess this problem is only out from u.s. ... Europe and other stats

Hey Renato66,

Thanks for updating the Community forum of your resolution — it's a big help! Also, we appreciate you for sending feedback to Ezviz about it as they are the one who's maintaining their portals for linking the account.

For cameras, there's no actions or settings available on routines for now. We're always looking for ways to improve and we will take this as feedback. If you have any updates or just a discussion topic, feel free to start a new thread in the community.

Cheers,

Muddi

Ok i sorted what is going on with many ezviz users.....

When linking the cameras with Google assistant after selecting ezviz manufacturer the next link is

And the token after..

Now . If I go with a browser to that link i will get empty values even if there is ezviz products present.... But

If I use

Ifttt.ezvizlife.com ... Instead of usifttt.ezvizlife.com i will get all devices and can select them ! That is a part of the big problem that many users have....

But if you pass from Google app you will never get to select the address.. so just a part of this is solved...

Hope you understand and can get this fixed...

Btw i dont  see anything in routines that could command the cameras ..is that correct ???
