Hey all,
I've been experiencing an issue with playing songs from my Nest Mini and I want to see if anyone has been experiencing the same issue. Whenever I ask Google to skip a currently playing song, it won't skip to the next song but will instead say "And now, time for a break" with nature sounds playing. When I ask Google what song is playing during these nature sounds, it'll just say the name of whatever song is set to play next. I've had to skip these countless times, and it's getting annoying. To my knowledge, this only happens when asking Google to play music directly from my Nest Mini, not when casting media from my device. Does anyone else have this issue? I haven't been able to find anything about it online.

i have the same problem on my nest mini, it play "nature sounds" for some seconds after any new song...how can i disable?

I genuinely have no idea how to turn this off. As I've mentioned in the original post, there's no documentation of this I can find anywhere, even on Google's support site.

i have the same f... Issue in italy here, it says that randomly sometimes in italian sometimes in english. I'm pretty sure it's not a google nest problem but a YT music problem. To help addressing the issue, do you use YT music as me as the default player? And do you heard advertising before? Like "we climb the mountain through murky holes" story? It is very annoying especially for the high not regulable voice volume. Unfortunately it is not registered as many other Google issues or hidden functions, you could not even reset settings or something as easy like that..😠. I'm not very happy with google services lately but maybe togheter we can find a solution that is not go for Alexa 😁

This erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. I tried to factory reset my device many times but the problem remains. It happen only on Nest Mini (i have 3, and all with the same problem), and not on the Nest Hub

Hi following the GDrive link to the video. The video is at 1.5x speed, you can hear between the two songs there is a pause and right after the annoying "time for a break" in italian (sometimes it say it in english ramdomly). After theis the next song starts.

"Now time for a break" followed by nature sounds and sometimes the same in Portuguese plays when we're trying to play music. We have tried a factory resit. The problem remains. It is very frustrating. How can I fix this please?

I'm in France. Sometime the message switches between English and French so you're not alone w this. Because of this I just use Spotify to cast my songs or play it from Google directly. Also no, I haven't got any ads through YT Music.
