I have a light called "Dad's light" but recently when I ask Google to turn on dads light, it starts playing a song called Dad's light that was recently released on Spotify. If I also say which room the light is in, the command works but it's annoying. Can I adjust commands so that "turn on" only applies to starting devices and won't start music? I even tried to create a routine to override but it didn't help

Hi @Willnedw
Thanks for sharing the requested information! In this case, your Google devices seem to be detecting the incorrect command. To resolve this, I recommend visiting the following website:
In the section "Control your home > Lights," you'll find recommendations for commands you can try. Additionally, you can try renaming the specific lights or adding the command "Turn on" to be more specific with the action.
I hope this helps! If not, please let me know, and I'll be more than happy to assist you further.
