Our google nest hub stopped working. The device itself is OK, the problem is the power cord which has NOT suffered any damage. The power cord simply stopped working.
I have read previous requests on this site for information about obtaining a replacement power cord. It appears Google does not provide parts and refers people with this problem to source 3rd party suppliers. We have tried a number of 3rd party suppliers and they advise no replacement parts are available and no knowledge of any other avenues to pursue. Oddly, we note the cord is available on line from the USA with USA plug configuration! I'd like to understand why Google does not make it available in Australia with the Australian plug configuration?
Incidentally, it is a legal obligation under the Australian Consumer Law for replacement parts to be reasonably. I can send you a link to the law if you like.
